SAP XI Namespace

Hi Folks,

I want to understand the significance of the namespaces (Http://sap.com/xi/filetofile). Why this is used and how this helps ?

Can I use the same namespace in the web browser ??

Hi Santosh,

Basically namespace is used for categorizing the objects in Integration repository.

You can not use this namespaces in web browser.

Santosh,

Namespace does not necessarily point to actual web resource.

We use namespace to categorize objects, may be based on different business scenarios to have clear visibility and for good maintenance of XI objects.

Hi ,

If you specify name space with Http or format,it doesnot mean that you can access though browser, just it is static name. so it can not possible to access.

Why you want to access???
