Can't see alert categories when I tried to subscribe it

Hi XI Gurus,

I have created alert categories and alert rules in RWB. When I tried to subscribe the alerts in Alert Inbox, I can't find them. Any steps I missed casued that issue? Thank you.

Hello,

When you have created Alert Category, have you assigned the "Recipients" to the category?

please check.

Ravi, you are right. I forgot to put receipant when I define the alert catergory in ALRTCATDEF. Thanks.

You can test the alert by executing the report RSALERTTEST.

To check the log, execute the report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER.

Hi

Run the transaction se38 and run the report SXMSALERTLOGGER and check what it says there. If it say no matching rule found then Go to alert configuration and activate the rules.

You may want to check and make sure your alert rules are activated in RWB.
