QM activation for 542 movement

Hi !,

Can someone help me out to create automatic inspection lot for 542 movement. I tried using inspection setup as 08, still no lot is created for both 541 & 542 movement. Here the requirement is like this. " We send materials for subcontracting w.r.t PO, here we recieve good material using 101 movement & rejected materials are send back to the company using 542 movement. Now i require to analyse & record results for the defects in rejected materials through 542 movement". How to proceed with this?

Hii,

Inspection cannot be carried out with 541/542 movement type. U cannot activate Inspection for 541/542 movemnt type in Inspection at Goods movemnt. For ur scenario u need to map the rejection scenrio with Vendor returns process. Sub contarctor / Vendor returns can be carried out with 122 or 161 movement type. U can record the results in 101 mvmt type and rejected material can be put to Blocked stock , from there u can make Vendor return procedure.
