Problem to print a smart form using DINA4 format

Hi All,

When i send to printer a smart form some characteres are printed with another font type but if i check the same form in the spool (sp01), i can see it right.

I checked all configurations in other environment, where this works but i did not find difference between the configurations.

Do you have any idea about it?

Hello,

Perhaps this is simply a problem with the Sapscript buffers. You can

run the report RSTXDELL on the system to clear the Sapscript buffers.

It is a good idea to do the refresh procedures after any updates

concerning font metrics, device types etc...

To do this you can use RSTXDELL report with default settings except it

is better to have * instead of the current client number in the Client

field.

After this can you please create some new spools and the problem should

be resolved. It will not work to reprint an old spool as the contained

data is already incorrect.

Please also have a look at the SAP note regarding the proper fonts

should be used:

Also check if you are using the correct device type.

Hi Erik,

Check the fonts you're using and talk to your Basis team. I'm sure you'll need for them to install the fonts for the printer.

Also, take a look to note 183948.
