Hi,

i need install dialogb instance in the Portal Producction, actuality the portal exist 2 APP. i need install 1 APP server.

exist documentacion for run install?

Hi Eli,

Yes of coure there is official documentation to refer when you install additional dialog instance.

For example, here it is(if you are using Netweaver portal 7.0)

- expand the "Installation - SAP NetWeaver Systems "

- select your version, for example "SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 - Installation Guides"

- then select your DB and OS platform

- open the PDF installation guide

- and you will find the section with name "Installing the Dialog Instance"

in the installation manual is not mentioned "install Dialog Instance" only is marked "Requirements for a Dialog Instance"

Hi,

Once the requiremnents are fulfilled, you can start installing the dialog instance by executing the SAPINST.

SAPINST will take u through the series of steps. Following these steps will let you complete the installation with ease.

I know you are installing EP dialog instance, what is the Operating System, 32bit or 64bit?

and what is the database used for the Portal CI system? Oracle or MSSQL?

And which portal version you are using? - 7.0 or 7.01, 7.02 or 7.10, 7.11....

S.O Hp-ux 11.23 64 bits

The versión portal is 7.01

The version database is Oracle 10

you will be clear about how to install the dialog instance after reading the guide.
