"Text Determination in ChaRM"

Dear Experts,

Kindly guide for following requirement.

We have configured ChaRM through Solution Manager. Once the ticket is logged by End User by creating support desk message, a change req is created for that support desk msg. Once the change req is approved an UC is created. For that UC, a transport req is created & subsequently transported to production server.

For transaction- SLFN (Support Desk) we have some Text IDs & defined a Text Procedure- SLFN0001

For transaction- SDCR (Create Change Req) we have some text Text IDs & defined Text Procedure- SDCR001

For transaction- SDHF0001 (Urg. Corr.) we have some Text IDs & defined Text Procedure-SDCD0001.

Now my requirement is-

1) whatever text maintained under each text ID for support desk (SLFN) should get copied to transaction change req(SDCR).

2) whatever text maintained under each text ID for support desk (SLFN) & change req (SDCR) should get copied to transaction UC (SDHF).

As per my understanding by maintaining access sequence for Text Determination it can be done. But I am unable to get it successfully configured.

Kindly suggest for the above queries.

Regards

Vivek

Dear Vivek,

Please take a look at:

SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide->SAP Solution Manager->Scenario-Specific Settings->Change Request Management->Extended Configuration->Change Transaction->Change Transaction Types->Copy Control for Change Request Management->Define Mapping Rules for Copy Control

There you add entries for Transaction Types Mapping:

SLFN (SP Type) for each subject group (or <> for all) to SDCR (TP Type) checking the Copy Text Box and

SDCR (SP Type) for each subject group (or <> for all) to SDHF (TP Type) checking the Copy Text Box

Then add entries for Text ID mapping by enter the Text ID(s) you want to copy from SLFN to SDCR and SDCR to SDHF.

This should copy all mapped texts when the CR and UC are created.

Hi,

you can customize the copy processing in TSOCM_CUST with transaktion SM34.

There is also a IMG activity for this in the Change Request Management part.
