Supress the SAP GUI popup in ITS Screen

Dear All,

We have an ITS URL integrated in the portal. Now, whenever user clicks on the link esp. at first time, then a GUI popup message appears. Also, it opens the sap logon pad.

I would like to know,

1. Is it mandatory to have SAP GUI installed in the client machine to use ITS screen?

2. Can we supress the GUI popup?

Hello Sharath,

Are you talking about the splashscreen? If yes then please check SAP note 1236062 (SAP GUI for HTML: Parameter ~nosplash).

As you already saw, when using the ITS, the client is a web browser - there is no need to have the SAPGUI for Windows installed (this is one of the reasons why the WEBGUI was created).

2. Can you give more info on this "2. Can we supress the GUI popup?"

If you are talking about GUI popup for logon creditals then it is mandatory/ Try using SSO logon then the popup will not appear.
