Multiple Inspection Lot for a purchase order

In QI07, system is creating only one inspection lot.

What is the settings I need to maintain so that for 1 purchase order I can create multiple inspection lot.

Or is it possible to reject 1 inspection lot by selecting more than 1 UD code during UD.

Actually there is one more drawback of using the source inspection that even if you create the multiple lots with line items & you reject the first lot then even if you accept the preceding lots(in QI07) ............whole original lot stands to be rejected only.

Try to run this scenario.

So source inspection with multiple lots for same PO does not work well...............

Split the total PO quantity into more than 1 line items.Lot will be generated for each line item.

Hi,

Yes , it is possible to create multiple Inspection lot for P.O. U need to create Purchase order based on the delivery schedule lines.

For ex U need to create P.O for 100 Nos of "X" material. Now u enter Qty for Purchse order in the Item detail screen of delivery schedule tab. Say u have entered 30 nos , 20 nos, 50 nos equals summation is 100 nos. Now system craeted Inspection lot for each delivery schdule lines means u will get 3 Inspection lot for same Purchase order on different schedule lines.

Schedule lines is meant for supplier tentative delivery date. In QI07 u will get 3 Line item for same P.O which can then relased to QA32 screen. Check and revert back.
