Freight Based on Header Field

Hiya

We are trying to base the freight on the total weight of the order.

We have a scale base where in depending upon the accesses in the table and the scales it derives the freight... it is working frine for single item weight... however we have a requirement that the weight should be picked up from the header, since our freight is a line item in the order, where customer can see it how much freight is charged, and since it is for the whole document it only appears once..

Hello RJ,

The theory below is valid for Freight condition:

When the condition is customized as a group condition with calculation

rule 'B' fixed amount. That means the condition rate found for such a

condition is distributed over the items according to the condition bases

on the single items. Moreover, if there is a condition record with

scales the scale base level according to the document scale basis is

taken. Please kindly check if the case in your system matches this.

The abaper called screen field from header and passed it to altcalbase value..

worked fine....
