Hi,
My planning version PPDS horizon is set to 90 days
but when i checked product loction under PPDS tab, the horizon is set to 0
when I run the heuristic for production planning ... the system will take which horizon?
thx
Dear Felix,
When u run heauristic for the Product, system will check the PPDS horizon in Product Master first. If it finds any value oter than Zero(here Zero=Blank) it will consider this, else it goes and considers the PPDS horizone value from the Planning version.
i.e. first priority is product master value only if it is non Zero
If the Product master value is Zero, then it takes from Planning version

If you have not specified a PP/DS horizon in the location product master, the system uses the SNP production horizon from the location product master.
If you have also not specified any SNP production horizon, the system uses the PP/DS horizon you created in the planning version.
Plz. check & confirm

hi
as stated above the PPDS horizon in the product master takes precedence over the PPDS horizon in the planning version. However if the PPDS horizon is left blank in the product master, PPDS horizon from the planning version is respected.
you can check and let me know if this works.
Rdgs, Sandeep
Horizon from Product master is given preference
Thanks,
