SRM and EP integration BS: SRM Portal (Basic Configuration) V1

Hi Experts,

I am currently integrating SRM to EP using this [http://<hostname:port>/nwa] and I encountered an error at "Step 458 of 495: Create PCD Folder" with an error notification:

"Error:Exception during the import of the profile!"

retry step, skip step, cancel process

Does someone has encountered this problem?

Please help.

check SAP note 1231164, it talks about the same error but during ITS configuration.

Hi Sunny,

I have read the sap note but my SAP version is only 701. is it possible to deploy this software component referreing to SAP note 1231164 (LMCFG) with release 7.10?? Do you have other solution?

there were some missing components and this has been solved by updating LMPORTAL.

from http://<hostname>:50000/irj/portal ->

System Administration --> Support --> Portal Runtime --> Application

Console

these components should be on the list:

tc_lmctc_cpapcd_sda

tc_lmctc_cpakmc_sda

I have exactly the same problem. I didn't found any patch for LMPORTAL

for 7.01 this should be the latest version right now - isn't it?

Hi Gerd,

Software Downloads -> Support Packages and Patches -> My Company's Application Components -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 -> Entry by Component -> Enterprise Portal -> LIFECYCLE MGMT PORTAL 7.01 -> OS independent

then search for the latest LMPORTAL that suits to your system. In my case my current system is EHP1 EP SPS05 then i download and deploy this LMPORTAL: LMPORTAL05_0-10005914.SCA SP05 for LIFECYCLE MGMT PORTAL 7.01

these 2 important components appeared after updating LMPORTAL

list tc_lmctc_cpapcd_sda

tc_lmctc_cpakmc_sda

Problem solved: added some roles to user j2ee_adm_<SID> btw. I have executed the template with an user with higher access privileges.

Hi Gard,

what is your system's support package stack? if your current system's sps is 04 you should update LM-PORTAL component to NW 7.01 SP04 to let the two Portal Applications tc_lmctc_cpapcd_sda and tc_lmctc_cpakmc_sda to be deployed into your portal system with JSPM. if this won't work try to update your existing system first to sps05+ then update your LM-PORTAL to NW7.01 SP05+ to solve the issue.
