Hi we are starting to hit a problem in our production system where are Dialog Statistics files are just growing to large, About 3 months ago we were able to store 48 of these files I then had to drop this to 38 files and now I'm currently at 24 and we are running out of space again. About 6 months ago the avg size of the file was about 400 meg, now it is just over 1Gb.
My understanding of these files is that they log all the transactions and performance measures against them. Any idea why these files have grown so big so quickly as I don't believe we are using the system twice the amount of 6 months ago.
Also can I set the level of what is recorded in these files?
Any help would be appreciated as I'm getting the feeling these are just going to keep getting bigger in size
Hello
You can disable it, fix value 0 in the parameter stat/level.

But if you can't do it, you can check if there is some application that is the responsible for the growing.
