Planned order created by SCM with action APCR

Hello guys,

We have PD/DS implemented just to execute CTP when sales orders are created.

Planned orders are not transfered to R/3 till they are converted to process order in APO system.

Our scenario with APO system should end in this point, but I could notice that some planned orders are been created in R/3 system by the user that we use only in RFC between APO and R/3. These planned orders have action (planned order processing) = APCR, this action doesn't even exist in the customizing table T46AS.

Can you come up with any idea why these planned orders are been created?

R/3 : 4.7

SCM: 5.1

Thanks in advance,

Jackeline

Jackeline,

These orders are created by APO, and then sent to R/3. I don't know your business model, but CTP creates a planned order just about every time you do an ATP. I must assume you are publishing these orders back to R/3.

From SAP help

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/EN/64/7294375960a42be10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm

"Unlike in the multilevel ATP check, during the CTP process, PP/DS planned orders or purchase requisitions, which are visible and are taken into account in planning, always result immediately. "

There is another similar code as well, APCH. The codes are discussed in the following note.
