Impact on open Shopping carts for approval on Org structure Change?

Required changes are:

1. Create all new org nodes.

2. Move all users (new and existing) under the new org nodes.

3. Delete old org nodes and users.

Will there be any impact of this change on the open Shopping Carts for approval???

Hi,

Yes, sometimes there will be some impact on open SC, Like when the approver approves the SC it may rise a error message saying USER XXX Not found or CP (Central Person) Not found..

If you get such type of issue remove the user from Org chart and replace it again..

My Approah would be either of the following, first being the preferred one:

1. Get all the open shopping carts approved or rejected before making any change. If you still ve any open SC even after that , then restart workflow for these shopping cart as workflow administrator.

2. My second approach would be keep the old and new hierarchy active in SRM system. Change your heirarchy for all users except the ones who have open SC pending for approval against them. Move them manually to the new hierarchy as and when they process the carts.
