0ORGUNIT info object to use in analysis authorizatio

Hi all,

I am creating an analysis authorization. Before I use 0costcenter object to create authorization, but now I have to create authorzation using 0orgunit object. Should it be used similar to 0costcenter or it should be treated differently? Thanks in advance.

0ORGUNIT hierarchy is normally for HR/HCM-Reporting, if you are trying to analyse structural authorization and its hierarchy

you are heading in the correct direction.

Make sure you have staged data from HR /HCM system for analysis.

Thanks for reply. We are not implementing structural authorization. We only want reports to be filtered by org unit

So its not organizational structure

If you are configuring based on organization levels costcentre & units then it works in a similar way.

Analysis authorization can be restiricted on the following using normal security methods:

On InfoCube Level

On Characteristic Level

On Characteristic Value Level

On Key Figure Level

On Hierarchy Node Level
