Running Solution Manager 7.01 SP23
I have set up logfile monitoring and it is working as designed, sending an alert when a pattern is found.
configured the sapccmsr.ini and logmon.ini files
I would like to change the message that is sent in the alert, currently it sends the line from the file where the pattern was found.
Is there any way to send a custom message rather than the line from the logfile?
Thank you,
Randy.
Hi Randy,
if you use the logfile monitor as part of the Business Process Monitoring (for details refer to section File Monitoring in the document Setup Guide for Interface Monitoring under http://service.sap.com/bpm > Media Library > Technical Infomration) then you can influence the subject text as well as the body of the email that is sent out.
Basically you just include the MTE name in BPMon via copy & paste. So no real extra effort.
If you want to have even more custom specific notifications you can also have a look into the following blog /people/johannes.fleig/blog/2010/06/02/create-your-own-auto-reaction-messages-in-business-process-monitoring-via-badi-exit "Create your own auto-reaction messages in Business Process Monitoring via BAdI exit".
Best Regards
Volker
