Hi,

Does any one know the table that has both old and new transactions in ECC 6. I see su25 step 2D pulling these values but I would like to know is any single table that has both these old and new transactions in ECC.

Thank you

Venkat

Thanks for providing more information and that you have tried already.

If you do a simple search you will find some references to the table name. But... this table is only as good as what the developers have maintained it and you might never-the-less want to keep the existing transactions in the roles.

In addition to the incomplete data in the table, changing old to new transactions might upset some of your end users if they are not using favourites..., Batch-Input sessions, custom reports making tcode checks, shortcuts, etc.

This is a tricky area- try to stick close to a knowledgeable functional guru who knows the users and their habits. Good luck!

Thanks Julius. Appreciate for the fast response. We are also trying to work with SAP how long they going to provide the support for old tcodes as we can not easily replace these old tcodes with new tcodes as the end users might upset with this as generally they may not get proper training on these new tcodes as this one we doing is just technical upgrade.

Thank you

SAP seldomly removes a tcode once it is "out in the wild", so you should not have a loss of existing functionality if you ignore step 2D.

It is more a case of the functional person being able to convince a benefit to change to new and better functionality from the perspective of the entry point (tcode in the menu).

If it is just a technical upgrade, then show them the SU25 step D results but keep your concept as before. You can always change it later.

Thought to self: The ability to add comments in Su25 would be a very cool feature! Rolls-Royce would be the possibility to add message types to the comments which processing SU25 steps reacts to as warning MESSAGE WITH comment.
