MTE for Backup, missing in Solman for remote monitoring Java standalone Sys

Hi,

We are trying to confiure CCMS alerts for Java stanalone system in Solman as central monitoring system. For that we have registered CCMS agent (sapccmsr) in satellite system. As a result, we are able to see system node in RZ20. There we can see few subtrees ( like filesystems, CPU usage, Memory usage, monitored processes etc ) for that system.

Now we want to configure autoreaction for the incident whenever backup failes. Unfortunately we do not have any node like Backup/Reatore (As in case of ABAP systems we always have node Backup/Reatore. We simply define autoreaction for that node and get alerts) .

Please suggest how to see the Backup MTE so dat we can define autoreation for that.

Hello,

For java only the CCMS monitoring is not the same. But, you can try configure the sapccmsr to check log files:

You probably control the backups in log files, you also can check the contents of the logs, take a look here:

And also, you can check is files exist or not.
