Hi! Good morning:
On the TDMS process tree there is a phase "customer specific table-> define customer Table Transfer Groups (optional)".
Could you please explain what is this for and how to use it?
My question is that Z or Y tables can be transferred even without this customizing step, why it is here?

Hi Diana,
Transfer Groups are required so as to uniquely categorize a set of tables based on your requirement.
These transfer groups are used in the next step i.e. "Define Tables for Customer Table Transfer Groups (Optional)" wherein you assign the tables to the already created transfer group. In this way, you achieve a clear differentiation criteria,
For example: Assume we have 2 transfer groups ZGRP1 and ZGRP2. Now, in a future run of the package, the data of only the tables in ZGRP1 is required while ZGRP2 is not. In this case, it becomes very easy to just deselect the tables in the group ZGRP2 so as to exclude them from transfer.
