Not able to create contract from bid invitation

Hi Experts,

Please help on following issue.

Issue : user is not able to create contract from bid invitation. ( SRM 5.0)

Path followed on portal Strategic sourcing -> Process bid invitation -> display bid invitaion -> bidders --> select bidder --> create contract.

After clicking contract contract management screen should open and show contract created. But user is not able to see any contract. Also not getting any error massage.

Contracts are not created as the follow-on document of a bid invitation, but bid response, or more precisely, accepted bid response. The place to see the created contract (if successful) is via the "history" tab/link of your bid invitation. Another way to check if your contract is created or not is through transaction BBP_PD and locate the initiating bid invitation. In the "Header Link" section, try to locate the contract (type BUS2000113).

Hi

Did you check contract in SRM GUI using BBP_PD Transaction for object type CONTRACT.

In order to succssfully create a contract you ve to go to the accepted BID and then create Contract from the Accepted BID using the button Create Contract....

Contract can be found in Process Contracts link in User's login in SRM.....
