Page getting skiped in smartform printing

Dear All,

I have developed a new smartform for TDS priinting. It has only one page. Next page is also the first page. When I print the TDS using dot Matrix printer for output having multiple pages, page one is printed, then one page is left blank and then the next page is printed and so on.

So the print is coming like. Page one -> blank page -> page two -> blank page -> page three and so on. In the print preview everything is fine. There are no blank pages inserted.

This problem must have been addressed earlier. A link to that thread will be helpful.

Please review the SAP notes:

27799 Turn off unwanted form feeds

3085 Unwanted empty pages between the printouts

These notes should help remove the blank pages.

You can also try to set:

rspo/host_spool/burst_pages = 0

in the instance profile.

Please look at the SAP note: 77540 and follow the suggestions

listed in the note.

The profile parameter rspo/host_spool/burst_pages is a 'inofficial'

parameter. This means, it is not in the official list of the profile

parameters, but the SAP kernel uses it nevertheless.

So you can use it, although you get a warning.
