Creating new sale order with reference of old sale order.

i want to make a sale order with reference of old sale order.

how to achieve it?

you need to do required config for copy control in VTAA

there are mainy threds related to same

i have configured VTAA

and when i use the va01 with reference and enter sale order number in order tab

it shows me item without quantity stored in previous order and when i click on copy button

it gives this error

Copying ZISO TAC to ZISO is not defined

It means your copy control is not enabled for Item category TAC indoc type ZISO. Please enable the copy control for TAC and then check it.

Hi,

In vtaa

give source and document number and assign all the relevant routines.

Now on the left hand side, click the Item button and then give the source I.C as TAC and target also as TAC adn then fill the routines.

Do the same for Schedule line (which is related to TAC)

If this is done, then ur scenario will work

Goto VTAA

Select your combination of orders

click on Item

GIve your ITEM category TAC

and take a refenrence of STATDARD CONFIG OR to OR Item category TAC

Also take reference for Schedule line

Hi,

You only have to enable the copy control where the from document type and to document type has to be the same in VTAA.

Also you have to take care of all the item categories relevant.

If this is done, you should be able to create an order with reference to an existing order.
