I am trying to install SAP R/3 4.70 SR1 in a one-node cluster environment: Windows 2003 SP2 - MSSQL2005 Enterprises.

I could successfully install MSSQL server in the cluster environment with Virtual SQL Server.

I could successfully install SAP R/3 4.70 SR1.

When I try to run the step of "Configure MSCS Node A", the installation stops at step "Stop SAP Services (post processing).

In the sapinst.log, I found these entries:

- The service 'SAPTST_00' stopped successfully on host 'Local'

- The service 'SAPOsCol' stopped successfully on host 'Local'

- Error 1722 (The RPC server is unavailable) in execution of a 'OpenSCManager' function, line (119), with parameter (ServicesActive)

- MOS-01203 Could not stop the 'SAPOSCOL' service on host '
NOT_EXIST'
