Interface SAP WM - External warehouse management

Hi all,

I'm interfacing SAP WM (Full WM) with an external warehouse manager. We're working on an HU storage location and the warehouse numbers is SU managed.

During the picking process, a transfer order is created in SAP. This TO is communicated to the external warehouse through an idoc WMTORD. The picking is done in the external system and then it communicates back to us the quantity, the HUs and the bins from which the picking was done through an idoc (message type WMTOCO).

I have several issues at this point:

=> The system is not accepting to change the source bin and the source SU (That was calculated initially in the TO).

=> If a pick-HU was initially calculated in the TO, is there a way to change it during the confirmation through idoc WMTORD.

Hello,

Please not down following things.

When TO is created in SAP system & it send information to legacy system then material must be in the same bin & HU mentioned in TOand physically in warehouse.

From your description it is seen that picking is happening from different bin than the TO suggested bin(mismatch).If physically material is in different bin then external warehouse should send synch information to SAP which will update SAP with the bin and HU.

You need to set up a process where external warehouse after stock cheking will clear such decripancy.

Legacy system will also not accept information from SAP if material is in different bin.

Your problem resembles to data issue and process issue.Please check whether you have facility to update SAP or external warehouse stock descripancy(with bin, HU) through IDOC & interface.
