We found different specifications for the same material say needle in two inspection lots. One contains correct values and other one has incorrect!!
1. What might be the root cause for such discrepancies on the specifications?
2. And how to avoid such error in future?
Appreciate any one's valuable input on this...
Thanks,
Aritra
As per our business scenario for Pharmaceutical we use Inspection with attached MIC with Sampling and Sample drawing Procedure, Sampling scheme to check the Quality of RM/PM/FP, can u give me some idea regarding;
1) Material Specificaton in Inspection plan
2) Reference Operation set with its use.
3) Dynamic Modification Rule
As for pharma we do;
1) Create MIC
2) Create Inspection plan
3) Attaching the MIC to an Inspection plan with sampling and sample drawing procedure
4) Attacing an Inspection Plan to an Inspection Lot
5) Result Recording and Usage Decision of Inspection lot for
In Automotive and othe Process Industry how the Dynamic modification rule,reference operation set, material specification flow.

Hi Srinivas,
As per your instruction I have checked these:
1. Inspection lot creation date for both ->both are same '06-08-2006'
2. Task list/specification creation date ->04-14-2005
3. check change history of tasklist/specification. (QP60 / QP61)-> from this list could not guess anything...
need assistance please
thanks
Aritra
Yes, it could be. Check the specification values in both the task lists. If they are matching with Inspection lots, then that should be problem.
also Goto Inspection lot display (QA03) and go to specification tab and display task list. Fnd out both are displaying same characterstics. also you can find task list group.
let me know.
regards
Srinivas
Hi Srinivas,
our client said that's not the reason!
How is it possible that - There are many inspection lots created for the material but only one inspection lot 10000205617 affected with different specifications(inspection characteristics)?
Is dynamic modification can play any role in this scenario? They are using dynamic modification rule...
Please give me some clue on this issue.
Thanks,
Aritra
Hi
If Dynamic modification is there, at what level it was set up?
inspection plan header level or at characterstic level or at inspection set up for material master level for Inspection type?
what is dynamic modification rule is used?
If dynamic modification is used at inspection set up for material master level for Inspection type, that could be one reason for this change.
please check
regards
Srinivas
Hi,
I can tell you using tcode QP03, in "Display Inspection plan - Dynamic modification" view under 'sample' tab: field 'DynMod as for char' is set '0' and 'Modification rule' is 'K31'.
tcode QDR3 gives:Dynamic modification rule-header data ->'for usage decision' radio button is selected and 'used in task list' check box is checked.
is that helps?
I am not sure how to check at what level dynamic modification rule was set up?
