Hi, Ambar

Can you try below?

in the IE brower, menu: tools->internet options->general->langauages->Language preference, leave your prefered langaue

here and deleted others, or put your prefered on the top, and then check again.

Hi,

What is your SRM Version? What is the default language for the user? Can you log on to SRM via SAPGUI in EN?

Hi,

I think you are using NetWeaver Portal. You can pass j_language=EN parameter.

http://<portal-host>.<domain>:<port>/irj/portal?j_user=<user>&j_password=<pass>&j_language=EN

Or you can change the default language.

Or you can use NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) browser.

http://<srm-host>.<domain>:<port>/sap/bc/nwbc/srm?sap-client=<client>&sap-language=EN

When you say Or you can change the default language.

Do you mean I should specify the language while logging in OR are yuo referring to something else ?

I think this would have worked for SRM 5.0 .

But SRM 7.0 doesnt give the option to change language in the URL . Does it ?

Hi,

If you use NetWeaver Portal, you can type &j_language=EN at the end of URL. No UI for language selection in NetWeaver Portal.

Please test &j_language=EN and NWBC in your landscape and let us know the result.

That didnt work , Masa .

Changing the URL doesnt change the language.

It cannot find the link and gives error .

Hi

This is a portal feature. It should be sorted out in Portal while loggin in and then SSO need to pass the logon language to SRM in order to ensure you see SRM Screens in that particular language.

Hi,

Other option is user can change the language in the personalization link after logon.

User does not need to logoff and logon again. Just refresh the browser by F5.

If you can not access the NWBC link, probably SP level is low. The latest SP is SP08 for SRM 7.0.
