Hi All,

I have Windows SQL server.

Now i want to find out the Table space history for last one year, but in DB02 -->statistics i get the table space history but the sample dates are not of present.

All the DB collector jobs are running fine .

Can someone help me in finding the last one year table space history?

Also in DB02 in fastest growing tables i get only 16 tables.

Please help me in knowing how can i find out 100 fastest growing tables.

Thanks and regards

Tushar

FIRST OF ALL.....................

MS SQL SERVER HAS NO TABLESPACE CONCEPT LIKE ORACLE...............

work on SQL server database to find the data files and logs.

You can resize data files as per your requirement.

Also check if the Full backup was taken recently so that that log files are truncated.

Hi Sharib,

This program gives a dump in my enviornment.

Is there any other way of finding the fastest growing tables?

One more thing in DB02 space statistics i i get the data showing "Sample dates" which is not same for every table.

Please let me know what this sample date means and why is it diffrent for all tables.

Hi,

This is an ABAP report that you can run in the TX se38.

Paste this report in program RSMSSTABGROW and execute this.

This will give you the Top 25 Tables growing per Day/Week/Month.

You can also see top "N" tables from the DB and also the table history.
