Balancing Resources

Hi everybody,

How can I balance the production on the resources (the resources produce the same kind of items)?

Can I use any heuristic?

Hi Iván.

Do you mean with already created planned orders?

In this case you can use the optimizer to get a feasible plan. According to you PDS, if the alternatives are maintained as modes, the optimizer will move orders to these alternative resouces if the parameters are set up in a good way.

Give more weightage to makespan parameter & take optimization run.
