TemSe Name BDC...

Hi

I have some issues with TemSe Administration mainly with the batch input (TemSe Name BDC...)

If i ran the SP12 (TemSe-Administration of Temporary Sequencial Data) i have:

Cln Appl. No. bytes in database No. bytes in files

800 BDCLG 0 682.432.817

I need to clean it because we starting have problems with the size, almost 2GB, but i found some

information about it but it is not claer for me at all.

I have SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7, BASIS 620, Unix AIX 5.3 with Oracle10g

Some one can help me ?

Hi , try to read Note 18307 - Batch input logs and reorganization

Also you can do it in transaction sm35

I have some doubts about the Note because:

1- I do not have the Logs like "BIserver00", i have a directory "/usr/sap/PDC/SYS/global/800BDCLG" and then the files:

2- I have the Standard Job SAP_REORG_BATCHINPUT (RSBDCREO:WEEKLY:Delete older > 8 days) scheduled weekly but still have information from 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010:

And in sm37 detail log of this work says?

Are you do sp12 TEMSE consistency check?

Are you try as i'm say the SM35 ? SM35 press log(f7) and Reorganize , try do it in dialog, what you see here?

P.S. are you do it directly in 800 client ? 800BDCLG

I did your recomendation (SM35->F7:Logs->Reorganize) and i could fix the problem, now the size is 2.103.952.

In the directory i still have older information, it could be deleted without any problem ?
