Hi,
As we know, changes are recorded in change request. ( workbench request / customizing request ).
Client settings are recording of automating recording of changes with changes are allowded to cust & repository objects.
We change any table entry it will ask transport request.
But transport request is not asked every time. e.g when we change RFC connection for SM59.
Is there any logic behind generation of transport request?
Regards,
Arpit
Hi Arpit,
Even for some tables you have maintenance functions due to which you can't edit and put it in a TR.
For these you need to manually enter the table key entries to transport the changes.
You can check in SE11 -> Utilities -> Maintenance Functiions.
Thanks,
Jagadish

Your post is not very specific to "SAP on Unix"
Transport requests are not prompted automatically for all type of changes in the system. Certain configs need to be manually included in the transport requests.
RFC configuration is cross-client and need to be included in the transport request manually.
