PPDS Optimizer with fixed sequence

Hi Gurus,

We are trying to use the PPDS Optimizer to force the planned orders and production orders of a previous iteration (which has periods of free capacity) as close as possible to the current date while fixing the sequence.

For this, we are trying with the "Fix Sequence on" settings in the Expert Settings tab in the optimization profile. Unfortunately, the optimizer is not working as expected and activities are been scheduled right after the optimization range. Anyone has worked successfully with this functionality?

Any help will be appreciated.

Plz eloberate u r business scenario & explain why u have used the Fix sequence on in expert settings.

Means what is the result u r expecting by using the expert settings in optimizer profile, so that i can help u in getting the same.
