Post Maintenance in PFCG

While generating profile, in role creation, normally i give generate option, Instead of that, if i click on Post-Maint. What will happen?

Please explain!!!

why dont you just try - is it that difficult to try?

I tried it, it shows action canceled.

If i click on cancel button, it shows me action canceled. i would like to know what is the difference between them...

its always good to try different scenarios to understand the cause and effect

Anyway, when you have authorization fields that are not maintained (shown in yellow), you can click on post-maintenance and still generate the profile, so that you can re-visit the role to make the necessary asjustments when you know what exactly needs to be filled in
