bypass scenario file to file using FTP

Hi experts,

I am doing File to File using using FTP,

R3 System's FTP path is: /ftp/ASN

Error details:

Attempt to process file failed with com.sap.exception.standard.SAPIllegalArgumentException: The parameter "argument" has the value "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244.", so it contains the character "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244." which is not allowed

MP: Exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: The parameter "argument" has the value "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244.", so it contains the character "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244." which is not allowed: com.sap.exception.standard.SAPIllegalArgumentException: The parameter "argument" has the value "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244.", so it contains the character "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244." which is not allowed

Exception caught by adapter framework: The parameter "argument" has the value "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244.", so it contains the character "remote:///ftp/ASN/20100903-125329-244." which is not allowed

Could you please help me in this.

Check your receiver communication channel status in RWB and check ...

Hi Elton,

Try with the backward slash '\'.

That is, \ftp\ASN

Hi,

The problem is because of first character (*). File name can't accept special characaters. Your mentioned part is correct but file name starting with * is problem. Generally file names will be 201. not 201.

I hope now clear.

yes I have changed the file name as ASN_Invoice.txt

Eventhough i am getting the same error

In the payload upto technical routing i am getting the message. after that i am getting the same error

Hi,

I think the problem is with path now. First check wheter mentioned path opening from TLENET or Other windows. It seems problem with path.

Hi,

The problem seems to be with the FTP path.

Please check if the path is correct , try to add one more slash in front of it & test.

target path is /ftp/ASN .

We are able to see the path using AL11

But the file is not placing in the specifed path.

In the same path i have seen many files are available in the specifed folder.

But I don't know only problem with my file
