MOpz Issue Invalid user S000xxxxxxx when calling SAP backend system

Hello all,

I am aware that this is quite a common issue, but I have tried all the advice on the forums which I have found.

Invalid user S000xxxxxxx when calling SAP backend system

Error code: AUTHORIZATION ERROR: Invalid UserID

Error text:2

I have set the user and password for SAP_OSS and SAPOSS to

OSS_RFC

CPIC

I have done the same using the global settings under DSWP.

I have tested the connections in SM59, and in DSWP and they work perfectly.

I have set the S-number to my username, in the format without the S000 in AISUSER, and linked it to the user I am using for the MOpz.

Does anyone else have any helpful advice?

Thank you.

What are the authorisations on SAP Marketplace for the S user? Try other S users for your system and that are defined in AISUSER.

Hi,

Please refer to Note 1032322 - Authorization checks in maintenance optimizer and the setup guide in the attachment.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Please ensure that SAP-OSS has your S-User / Password info along with the first "S" entered. Example: S000123456789

Also, in SM59, verify if you have any SM_SP_*

If you do, correct it with your S-user ID in the userID tab.

If you are still having the problem, check that you can log onto the Marketplace with your credentials to ensure that it is not locked.

Hi Jared,

I have 3 OSS RFC connections in SM59.

These are :

SAPOSS

SAP-OSS

SAP-OSS-LIST-O01

I have set the SAP-OSS username and password to my S-Number and password, and I have set the rest to OSS_RFC and CPIC.

I have checked that the S-number can log onto the marketplace, and that is fine.

The authorization check also works perfectly.

Do you have any other ideas?

Hi,

The only RFC that should have the OSS_RFC and CPIC as user credentials is SAPOSS.

Do you use several customer numbers? The S user in the RFCs and the S user for the user running the Maintenance Optimizer transaction might be incompatible.

Hello,

Logged back on this morning and it worked, I assume that the user was locked on the OSS side (although I could still log on to the Marketplace?).

Thanks for everyone's help.
