Moving documents from the folder to sap dms environment

Hi Gurus,

My client is planning to move all the old files which are stored in the folders in the shared drive to sap DMS. Kindly give me the suggestions that how to show these documents which are in the folders to move in to the SAPDMS.

Hi Kanna,

This can be achived thru BDC recordings. Ask abap'r to write a BDC program for the same and all the documents can be moved to SAP DMS from share folder.

Ya Kanna,

One another method is LSMW but it's having various steps and you need to understand the LSMW process.

This may take more time than BDC.

This tool provides feature for Data migration with validation and the process is fully transparent and very flexible.
