Prerequisites for BI System Installation

Hello Experts

I am new to SAP world, I want to install SAP BI Sytem in windows platform.

Can anyone please tell me what are the prerequisites.

Hi Chandu

Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 are supported.

To run installation you should have Java environment and you should have anyone of the following RDBMS

1. DB2

2. Oracle

3. MS SQL Server

4. MaxDB

Hi Chandu

You have to download the latest patch level of BI CONT from service market place.

http://service.sap.com/swdc

You can install from the front end using SAINT transaction .

You need to download the BI_CONT from SMP and install using SAINT t-code.
