Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) to Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)

Hi All,

We are planning to move from the Microsoft Windows Server 2003(32 bit) to Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (64bit) for our CRM4.0 system.

After moving to Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (64bit) , do we need to do any kind of testing from functional and technical team (like testing the existing functionality) apart from BASIS?

You'll want to review SAP note 1383873. Windows 2008 R2 is not supported for any SAP release yet and has only started the validation process for 7.02.
