Historical BOM Data Upload

Hi All,

while migrating the BOM data from legacy system, we need to migrate the historical data also into SAP.

Please let me know how we can upload the historical BOM data.

hello !

Use T.code LSMW to upload any data, by giving program name CS01, same as BOM T code.

Thanks for your replies.

Actually, currently i am using LSMW to upload the BOM data. I am using standard direct input program to create and change the BOM. But issue is that when I am facing issue while trying to load historical data with change number.

For example if in my initial BOM i am having 10 items and i want to change the quantity of one particualr item with change number from particular date. Now when i am executing the LSMW for that one item, system is automatically changing the valid to date for all other items and this valid to date is copied from the change number valide from date.

Please suggest how i should proceed?

Note you can use the change number to hold the history details and valid to date as well.
