Restrict assignment of deliveries to single shipment

HI

While creating shipment using VT01N , SAP doesnt allow to add the deliveries that are already assigned to someother shipments. However, when i create outbound shipment in SAP using basic IDOC type TPSSHT01 , i am able to assign the same deliveries to mulitple shipments.

How do i restrict this. Is there a way to restict the assignment of deliveries to only one shipment while using IDOC TPSSHT01?

hi,

You can also create shipment with deliveries assigned to other shipments. Only that you need to deactivate checkbox 'include deliveries in processed shipment'.

I don't think though you can control that from TPSSHT01 idoc. There is standard FM ''SD_DELIVERY_FOR_TRANSPORT'' and then ''SD_DELIVERY_ASSIGN_TO_SHIPMENT'' called which include deliveries.

You can debug how the above is called for your examples and if needed custom logic can be applied in u-exit EXIT_SAPLV56I_010.
