HI,
I am trying to create a customer master record for a customer in Pueto Rico .
The vendor has a requirement of using Pueto Rico as a seperate country code.
When I create a customer with country code "PR" & region "PR", I get the following message:
"Region PR not Defined for country PR"
Any idea?

Using menu path shown below, add PR as a Region under country PR. As you probably know PR is a territory of USA.
SPRO/SAP NetWeaver/General Settings/Set Countries/Insert Regions
In my system PR already exists as a Region under both US and PR countries.
There are several OSS notes for Puerto Rico, use search term Puerto Rico to go through them.
If it is for some tax/customs scenarios, try to work with access sequences to get the results you wanted. For example you can use with region of the departing country in addition to customer's country/Region.
Hope this helps.

I am stumped. Did you get any update error while saving the change?
Try logging out and reentering.
What's the Error Message Number?
What Release are you in?
What do you see when you seek 'Possible Entries' for that field after you entered PR in the country field while creating the customer master?
May be you should raise an OSS message.

Hello,
You can define new regions for your country code in Transaction code OVK2. define it here and it will be available for you to use in customer master.
Thanks
