Release part of sales document from Credit Hold

I would like to be able to release part of a sales order from credit hold.

For example

If a document has a value of $10,000 I would like ot release $2000 only.

I see there is a value of C - Document Not Ok Partial Release in CMGST however I cannot figure out how to trigger this status.

Guidance appricated.

Hello Colleague,

You can only have a credit check at the header level so with this

release of the software you will not be able to have an item

block. So you can either have credit block the entire order or

nothing. At this point there is no plan to change this part of the

ERP system.

I agree some further research lead to be understand how a credit status of C - Document Ok Partial release can be achieved. Unfortunately my client does not use the necessary technique. The client is happen with the information provided.
