Report RHALESMD

Hi Experts,

We are configuring the system to synchronize the HR master data with a cProjects system. We have everything configured so with transaction PFAL (report RHALEINI) we can transfer discrete data from HR to cProjects, but we want this to happen automatically (not necessarily in a synchronious way)

We navigated through report RHALESMD, but it doesn't work on tranference of new persons on the HR system.

Could somebody advice which could be the best way to program this job?

Hi,

Maintain a Variant of PFAL & schedule a background job (SM37) to execute PFAL periodically (preferrably daily overnight). Take the help your basis consultant to schedule the job.

Thanks for the answer but what I needed was to transfer only the changes, so I only need to update the information that has changed and not the whole set of master data.

On the other hand, report rhalesmd transfers the changes, but it doesn't work at new person creation since it always sends an "update" operation but not an insert.

Do you have any other solution/program/report that can fit us?

Just to add PFAL does have an "update" option which updates only changes.

Do give it a try.
