Axis-ClassNotFoundException: com.sap.aii.axis.soap.HeaderExtractionHandler

Hi Gents,

We have deployed the axis framework sda files on our PI server. However, when a sender communication channel is defined with the HeaderExtractionHandler handler the communication channel shows an error on the RWB.

When I call this page: http://pideai1:51200/XIAxisAdapter/MessageServlet

The status returned is Green 'OK'.

The exception shown on the RWB is longer but it starts as follows::

failed to initialize: org.apache.axis.ConfigurationException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sap.aii.axis.soap.HeaderExtractionHandler -

We are running on PI 7.1 EHP1, service pack 4.

SAP-XIAFC level is 7.1104

Any ideas what could be the problem here?

SAP note was not complete regarding the min. level of adapter engine SP.

We still have this problem with the Axis deployment on PI 7.1 EHP1, SP 04.

Any clues where to look?

Hi,

it looks like you spelled the handler name correctly.

In this case, you should check your SAPXIAF version and compare it against the version number mentioned in the Axis FAQ Note 1039369.
