Automatic Pick HU Creation

Question is

Fully HU maqnaged Warehouse.

I do a pick from an HU managed Storage Type to an HU MANAGED Storage Type :

- For a full HU removal, Automatic Pick HU is created at TO Creation : Source HU becomes Destination HU

- This is perfect.

I do pick from same HU managed Storage Type to a NON_HU MANAGED Storage Type

- For a full HU removal. No Automatic HU is created at TO creation

- A new Pick HU gets created at TO confirmation

Same MVT is used and same config for HU PICK CONTROL for both Storage Types.

Two questions arise.

1. Why is it that no Pick HU gets created at TO Creation for second case? From HU to non-HU Storage Type

2. Why is it that a new PICK HU gets created at TO Confirmation?

Can anyone please help me understand what is going on?

Although I do not understand why this situation happens, I am going to close this question.

I have used a work around.

I have forced the Source HU as the Destination HU based on the movement type to this Storage TYpe ( it is a PSA non HU managed).

For moves to any other Storage Type it works fine.
