Hi,
Go to RZ20.
Expand the corresponding MTE node.
Go to Menu Views --> Status Autoreaction,
check if you have status READY or Run Required.
If the status is "Run Required" Refer note 1265906.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to revert back.

Hi Raghu,
Thanks for the information.
But our Solution Manager is on SP23 ,so 1265906 is already delivered.
The status of the alerts in Solman is ACTION_REQUIRED.
We are receiving alerts for all the other systems in the landscape(7.0/7.01) only 7.1 systems are not sending email alerts .
I guess some extra configuration need to performed for 7.1 systems......
Please help us to solve this ...Thanks in advance..

Hi,
Check if the processing of the send e-mail method in that system is set to background and not dialog in RZ21.
Goto RZ21> Open the send e-mail method> tab "Control" --> Set the value to "Periodically in background process (as job) and save the method.
Thanks,
Rinkal

Hi Salia,
Thanks for the information.
The email method is set to "Only in central system ,triggered by ccms agents" And i get alerts for the other systems.
For Availability Monitoring "dialog process" is checked and i receive alerts for all other systems .
Only PI 7.1 systems are not generating emails.
I am worried if changing to background will disturb all the other systems in the landscape . Please let me know your thoughts.....
Thanks,
Srini K
