ICM doubt - commission payment

Good morning,

We have a requirement that we pay commission to agents on sales executed (billed against our customers). Although they only have the right to receive the amount of commission once the customer pays us for the goods / services. In other words, when occurs the settlement in FI.

My doubt is if is it possible to meet this requirement with the ICM (Incentives and commission management) module.

Hi,

This scenario can be achieved using ICM, In ICM there is a functionality called as Actual Commissions which locks the commission paid out to a sales rep. By the way of this lock commissions are not picked up when a run happens to send amounts from ICM system to payment system.

To unlock the commissions ICM expects a notification trgger ( for ex in your case it would be receipt of payment ), On receipt of this notification trigger ICM system unlocks the commissions for that particluar transaction.

Relevant app packages are CACS25, CACS27 and CACS2A.
