Support package problems.

HI experts,

1. I alreday updated kernel 254, SPAM/Saint 039

2. I success to import SAP_BASIC to 018. But when I import KB70019 it takes long long times. so I stop the transaction force in SM50. Also stop tp process in OS level.

3. I retry to import it again but it can't. after googling,

I delete /usr/sap/tran/EPS/in *

/usr/sap/trnas/tmp - current today's file

/usr/sap/trans/buffer - be empty SID file.

truncate PAT01 & PAT02 & PAT03 table.

4. Right now, I can't progress any import queue and so on.

also all of support package informations are removed.

Please help me, fortunately it's a develop server for testing EHP3.

Thank you, Any method don't work. so I finally restore fully.

Try resetting the transport queue buffers:

  • SE37 -> add function module OCS_RESET_QUEUE -> Execute

  • Set IV_TOOL to "SPAM"

  • Set IV_FORCE to "X"

  • Execute

Hopefully afterwards you can continue.

First you shouldn't just killed the SP without investigating the cause.

Now that the damage is done... go to STMS -> Import monitor and delete the entry for the SP.

I delete /usr/sap/tran/EPS/in *

You'll need the files again.

make sure tp is not running at OS level, then start the SP import again
