Pass User Data from VC to WebService

Hello,

I want to pass the user data of the user, who is logged in my VC application, to my webservice. The webservice uses logon ticket authentication and is exposed from a composite application (CE 7.1).

Anybody here could help me to pass the user data of the logged on user so that the created / modified entries in the database are showing the appropriate user instead of guest...

Hi Bernd,

yesterday I had the same problem. The solution is to set the security settings for the web service in NetWeaver Administrator at Single Service Administration!

In my case I always set

- UserID/Password

- Logon Ticket

After that the user who called the service should appear at log.
