Hi,
I am working on EDT (External Data Transfer) to create FS-BP.
As mentioned in the SAP help we can transfer a date in two formats YYYYMMDD or DD.MM.YYYY
This has to be specified at the beginning of the external data transfer in TX. KCLJ.
I am using transfer type 15 for the transfer of business partner data. The date field BIRTHDT is 8-characters long in structure BUS_DI. However, if i enter the data in the form DD.MM.YYYY, it is giving error for ex. "The value 01.12.1978 in sender field BIRTHDT is too large for processing" while transfer of BP .
Please let me know how to solve this.
Thanks,
BH
Hello
Did you also keep the correct format as is mentioned
" With Date format you can whether the date should take the form YYYYMMDD or DD.MM.YYYY. This choice is only possible with TXT- / CSV-/ MC Format. A date always has to be in the YYYYMMDD form in the the other formats. "
