Pick document for printing based on document type.

Hi,

We have DMS configured and in use for Plant Maintenance Module. In the server path folder mentioned user keeps document. document gets picked up and gets printed.

There is a new requirement from business for which i need solution and input.

Let say user keeps document ABC.doc and ABC.pdf in folder mentioned in server path.

presently file ABC.doc gets picked and with used PDF crawler it converts ABC.doc to ABC.pdf and ABC.pdf gets printed.

requirement is if both ABC.doc and ABC.pdf are present in folder connect via server path then ABC.pdf sould be pick 1st on priority and print should be done.

Hi,

If you are using conerter then the orignal will print 1st and converted format next. Otherwise only converted can be printed and no orignal format like .doc can printed.

Understood of you want both in that case your current system is correct. System is converting it based on inouts received from first format i.e. .doc. How system can convert first if no data is available. Same way printing is happening. Or keep rpint as manual then you can achive this in manual opertaion. In automatic printing this will not happen.
